LG officially announce sits first Android phone, GW620

Here is it, another Android phone from one of the major phone makers in Asia – LG.

LG is looking to expand its product portfolio with an Android offering despite its relationship with Microsoft (LG attempts to deliver 13 new Windows Mobile handsets by end of next year)

The GW620 is an Android phone featuring 3-inch full touchscreen with a landscape QWERTY slider.   There is no mention of the type of screen. (Capacitive?  Resistive?)   Camera specs aren’t mentioned in the press as well.  But as far as we know, it’s going to clock in at 5 megapixels and the phone looks to be loaded with a very bone-stock Android build sans LG-specific enhancements like an S-Class port.

No mentioned of when the GW620 will be available in Asia market.  A rough estimation will be at the forth quarter.
