Palm Pre going to Europe

Palm announces the launch date of GSM version of Pre in Europe.  13 October in Germany and 16 October in UK and Ireland.  It will be sold exclusively by O2 in these countries.

The price published is around 483 EURO for a non-contract phone in Germany.  However, in UK, the phone will be SIM locked by O2.  Well, I guess the hacker will be busy again to unlock the phone when it hits the market.
