Motorola Droid gets comprehensive review
Oct 31st
Yes, here it is. Engadget has a unit and the review has been published.
The verdict? It is an excellent smartphone and will be attractive to many modern users. However, some parts of the phone are still pretty rough. When comparing to iPhone, it is a phone that can compete with it. There are many features of it which are much better than iPhone, like messaging, email and customization. However, it still has a long to go to match iPhone with its user experience.

Android 2.0 (Eclair) ported to HTC Dream
Oct 30th
Wow! Before the first Android 2.0 based phone, like Motorola Droid, hits the market, somebody has got it working on the first Android device, the HTC Dream (G1). From the video, it still looks a bit rough and not fully optimized yet, but it is working. With helps from the hacker community and the code released by Google, I am sure it will rock in a short time.

The new Apple iTunes 9.0.2 kills Palm Pre sync, again
Oct 30th
The game goes on, the recent release of Apple iTunes 9.0.2 kills the media sync capability between iTunes and Palm Pre.
Despite Palm’s effort to make the Pre compatable to iTunes media sync, Apple just hates it and keeps breaking it with new updates.
While the main goals of iTunes 9.0.2 are to add support for Apple TV software version 3.0, add an option for a dark background for Grid View and improve support for accessibility, Apple just happily added another small “feature” to break the Palm Pre sync.
Well, we shall see whether Palm will stop here, or just continues to play the game later on.
