HTC HD2 (Leo) officially announced with Sense

It is official now, HTC has just announced the long waited Windows Mobile device, Leo.  And it is now officially called HD2.

This device has an impressive list of specifications:

• 1GHz snapdragon CPU.
• Windows MObile 6.5.
• 1230mAh bettery.
• 5Mega pixel camera.
• 3.5mm sterio audio jack.
• Capacitive 4.3′ touch screen with multitouch.
• 448Mb RAM with micro SD expansion slot.

It has tethering capability built in via bluetooth or USB cable.  And it can be setup as a wifi router.  It is the first Windows Mobile device from HTC that comes with Sense.

There is something new here that we have never haerd before.  The HD2 has an optional car kit that acts as a charger as well.  Once docked on the car kit, the HD2 will activate a NaviPanel for a driver friendly interface.

The HD2 will be launched in Europe later this month, followed by Asia.  US will get it in the beginning of 2010, which is pretty fast compared to other models that HTC launched before.
