HTC capacitive stylus arriving soon?
Nov 30th
Do you still remember there was a report few months back that HTC was getting a patent for a capacitive stylus that works on a capacitive touch screen.
It seems like the product is coming. According to Clove, the UK online retailer, the HTC HD2 Capacitive Stylus is about to launch. The stylus will cost 15 British Pound before tax.
While technically one will not need a stylus for a capacitive touch screen. However, being a Windows Mobile device, the HD2 is capable of running lots of legacy Windows Mobile applications that are not optimized for finger touch. If you intend to install those applications and you can’t use a normal stylus on the screen, this stylus could be the answer for you.
So stay tuned for the official launch of this capacitive stylus from HTC.
Android 2.1 coming to HTC Hero?
Nov 30th

HTC has promised the world that there will be an Adroind 2.0 firmware upgrade for the HTC Hero.
While all of us have been waiting anxiously for the new firmware to come, there are people who spotted screenshots of HTC Hero running the upcoming Android 2.1 promised by Google to be delivered by end the 2009. This actually makes a lot of sense as HTC should not release a 2.0 firmware for the Hero if Google has actually released a minor upgrade for 2.0.
While the screenshots looks a little change from the current version 1.5 withthe stocked ROM, we are interested to find out how HTC integrates the latest features of Android 2.0 into their Sense.

A new mobile device from Else, based on Linux, looks amazing
Nov 26th
Some of you might still remember the Access Linux Platform (ALP) was being pushed by Palm before as an mobile OS of choice. And after all the hypes of WebOS, we thought it is a dead project by now.
However, an Isreali company, Else, moved on and created an amazing looking and intuitive device based on the ALP platform. And they call it the First Else.
Based on a totally new concept, you don’t see menu and many other things you are familiar with. The First Else certainly looks like a phone from future. It’s got a powerful TI OMAP 3430 processor (as found on the Motorola Droid and Palm Pre), a 854×480 3.5-inch capacitive LCD touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera which promises to capture 480p video at 30fps, and a 1450mAh battery. The memory size is said to be 32Gb but there is no confirmation of this and it has HSPA and EDGE connections.
Engadget was at the launch event in London and they have a full coverage of this new device. Take a look at it here if you wish to find out more details.
I have attached a hands on video of the device after the break as well, enjoy!
