Google Navigation hacked to work on G1 (Dream)
As many of you have already known, the new Motorola DROID comes with a beta version of Google Map with turn-by-turn navigation.
There is a good news for people who own a G1 (Dream) phone in US. Hackers from XDA-Developers have ported the application to the G1 phone (Dream). Although the Google Navigation is meant for Android 2.0 phones, but it is running fine on the old G1.
However, since Google Navigation is only working in US, for those of you who own a Dream phone from HTC and reside in the rest of the world, the turn-by-turn navigation will not work for you.
Check it out on XDA-Developers.
