Android 2.0 (Eclair) source code released

The source code of Android 2.0 (Eclair) has been released by the Android team. Although the Android 2.0 phone Motorola DROID and the SDK have been around for a while, it is only now for Android team to release the source code. WebOS 1.3.1 available now for Palm Pre owners

Palm has just released the WebOS 1.3.1 update for the Pre owners. There is no “fix” for the broken iTunes sync yet but there is a list of improvement for the Pre owners: Yahoo! is now officially supported for Contact/Calender/IM. Nokia rumoured to buy Palm, again

Here is the rumour again, the world’s largest phone manufacturer, Nokia, is looking to buy into Palm, the owner of the Pre and Pixi. Windows Mobile Marketplace is now PC friendly

Those of who have the marketplace in the Windows Mobile 6.5, or the official version in the Windows 6.1 and 6.0, you can now buy the apps on your PC by pointing your web to marketplace.windowsphone.com. UK to get HTC HD2 free on contract

The lucky UK people is now able to get the HTC HD2 for free is they sign an 18 months or 24 months contract with Vodafone. For a £35 per month of 18 months agreement, the Vodafone subscribers can bring the HD2 home without paying anything.  However, only 500Mb of data transfer per month is allowed. An official Palm Pixi review is now available

The people at Engadget Mobile has their hands on the Palm Pixi already and they have published an official review. This small brother of Palm Pre comes with a slower processor, 2 megapixel camera, no wifi, smaller screen (320 x 400), and a different form factor. Palm Pre going to Mexico, on 27th November

Palm is expanding its market by going to another country, this time, it is Mexico. According to Palm’s Mexico site, the Palm Pre will be landed at Telcel at 27th November.  At the moment, no price information is available. Congratulations, fellow Mexicans.
