Second worm hits jailbroken iPhone, this time, malicious
The second worm has hit the jailbroken iPhone. This time, it is specifically targeting people in the Netherlands who are using their iPhones for internet banking with Dutch online bank ING.
If you have a jailbroken iPhone and with SSH installed, beware! The recently reported worm will try to get your banking and some other private information out of your iPhone.
Apparently, some of the people who jailbroke their iPhones and installed SSH have never changed the default password that the SSH comes with. This give the opportunity for the hackers to gain access to these iPhones remotely.
If you have a jailbroken iPhone and it is vulnerable for the attack, please change the default password to something else. Don’t go back to Apple as the warranty of the iPhone has been voided
