Google says only 16,000 apps in market, not 20,000 as reported by AndroLib
Google‘s official spokesman has clarified the numbers of free and paid apps in Android Market is around 16,000, not 20,000 as reported by AndroLib few days ago.
“There are currently more than 16,000 free and paid apps in Android Market.”
However, Google did not state the breakdown of the free and paid apps. May be it is just the ways both parties used to calculate the numbers.
Anyway, it doesn’t really bother me with that few thousands of difference.
