Acer Liquid A1 to get Android 2.0 update in March?

According to a French blog, the first Android effort from Acer, the Liquid A1, will be getting the Android 2.0 (Eclair) update by March this year for free.

The Liquid was launched with Android 1.6 and with minimum customization from Acer.  With the upgrade to Android 2.0, the Liquid may get newer service like sync with multiple accounts, multitouch, etc.  However, it is still unclear now what are the new things the Liquid will get.

However, by the time of March, the Google Nexus One and Android 2.1 should be available already.  I am not sure what other add-ons Acer will offer to ensure consumers to remain interested in this device.
