Microsoft to release Windows Mobile 6.6 before 7?

When everyone of us is expecting Microsoft to announce Windows Mobile 7 during the Mobile World Conference (MWC) in February, Digitimes reports otherwise. Instead of 7, Microsoft is going to announce 6.6, which no one has ever heard before.

The report even goes on with Microsoft will be delaying the release of Windows Mobile 7 till year 2011. What a big disappointment to many of the Windows Mobile fans if this turns out to be true.

However, this rumour is not confirmed by anyone and I will treat this as a rumour until there are further proofs and news about this.
