HTC publishes the kernel source code of Droid Eris

HTC has just released the kernel source code of Droid Eris.  If you are interested, you can get the code from HTC’s developer site here.

By releasing the kernel code, it allows programmers, kernel hackers,and  moders to improve and extend the code.  And there will be enhancements, extensions and even custom ROMs for the Droid Eris.  And sometimes bugs can be fixed by the community faster than the official party, HTC.
