Samsung’s first Android 2.1 handset, SHW-M100S, coming to Korea in March
The first Android 2.1 device from Samsung, SHW-M100S, will be landing in Korea in March. The handset is also designed specifically for local Korea market.
The SHW-M100S, comes will a number of features for Korea market:
- 800MHz processor
- 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen (WVGA)
- 5MP camera with 720p video recording
- Wi-Fi (802.11n)
- GPS
- T-DMB (digital TV receiver)
- DivX support
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- TouchWiz UI
- Social Networking Service (SNS)
- Android market
- SK Telecom’s T store.
Since it is local market specific, it will only be available in Korea. The rest of us will have to wait for a similar model without the local market features.
