Consider this when you are thinking of buying the new Microsoft Kin phone – the social networking update for Kin is not exactly real time, it is scheduled to update every 15 minutes.

For a phone that is emphasizing social networking and media, this sound a bit strength to me. “We didn’t want the device always pulling data from the network,” said one engineer, citing battery life and immature social network APIs as primary reasons why.
