Android phones outsells iPhone in US for the first time
Apple’s fear of being beaten by Android has come through. According to Q1 2010 statistic, Android phones sales volume is higher than iPhone in US for the first time. The Android phones sales is recorded at 28% while iPhone is 21%. The number in US is still the Blackberry phones from RIM, recorded at 36%.
When Apple sued HTC, many thought that it was Apple strategy to stop Android’s growth and now it has been proven that Apple’s fear is solidly existed. With the strong push from many Android partners, the figure will continue to growth for a while and we shall see how Apple respond to that.
