Google Nexus S available now in US, for USD529

The sale of Google Nexus S phone has started.  It is now only available in US from BestBuy, with or without contract. The phone is sold for USD529, unlocked and without contract.  If you want the phone, you can buy it from selected BestBuy stores or from BestBuy’s web site. LG announces world’s first dual core Android phone – LG Optimus 2X (LG Star)

It is official now.  LG has just announced the first dual core Android phone based on the Tegra 2 chip – the LG Optimus 2X. The phone will be loaded with 1Ghz Tegra 250 dual core CPU, 8Gb internal memory (expandable with up to 32Gb microSD), 1500mAh battery, 4 inch WVGA screen and capable of doing 1080p HDMI out.  It also comes with a 8MP camera and a front facing camera (1.3MP) for video calling. Andy Rubin showing off Motorola tablet, running Android 3.0 – Honeycomb

Wow, I want this now!!  Andy Rubin, the father of Android, was showing off the prototype tablet from Motorola running the next generation of Android, the Honeycomb (aka Android 3.0).  The new Google Map shown in the video looks great as well.  Enjoy the video!!

Yes, this is what many people have been waiting for – the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) from Google.
