There have been tons of Honeycomb news lately.  To add to the fun, Google is going to show the world more about the upcoming tablet OS on 2nd of February. Google is inviting everyone to go to its Mountain View campus on Wednesday, 2nd of February to join them for an in-depth look at Honeycomb.  And there will be a live stream on Youtube at their youtube channel: youtube.com/android. Join the fun if you could.

Happy Chinese new year! As the Chinese new year is approaching (3rd of February), I felt like giving the blog a new look to replace the more then 1 year old template.  I hope you like the new design as it is new cleaner and look better! Google has just released the SDK preview for developers interested to develop/convert apps for the upcoming Android Honeycomb tablet.  With the SDK, we are able to see more details of the platform.  And there is more.  The SDK comes with a emulator that will show us the Honeycomb running live.  Engadget has a video for it and you can enjoy the video now.

Motorola Atrix 4G and Xoom tablet are some of the best products shown in CES 2011.  And I guess many of you are waiting anxiously for their launch. If you are still haunted by the SMS bug of Android 2.3 on your Nexus S, here is the good news:  Google is rolling the update version of Android 2.3.2 now, and it will fix the SMS bug. So stay tuned, if you have not received it.

That’s quite impressive.  10 billions apps downloaded from Apple’s famous App Store for iPhone, iPod and iPad. They reached this figure in just few years time.  And I believe that 100 billions is not that far away. What do we expect next?  Hmm, Android Market should hit this number not long after this.

Sometime ago, somebody from somewhere somehow found that the next version of Android after Honeycomb is called Ice Cream.  And well, this is almost true. From the interview with Andy Rubin (the founder of Android) by TechCrunch, we found out that the name of the next generation Android will be Ice Cream Sandwich.  And it is surely as yummy as Honeycomb
