Google Maps Navigation now available for Android 1.6

When the Google Maps Navigation beta was launched few weeks back, it was only for Android 2.0 devices.  Good news for other Android users, Google has just made it available for the Android 1.6 devices.  Sadly, Android 1.5 devices are not supported at this moment. Samsung to introduce a new Mobile OS, called Bada

Gee… here comes another Mobile OS, this time it is Bada from the Korean phone maker, Samsung. Starhub to sell iPhone also, later this year

Yesterday Starhub (Singapore) released a short statement on their web site, saying they have reached an agreement with Apple to bring iPhone to Starhub later this year. Android 2.0 (Eclair) ported to HTC Dream

Wow!  Before the first Android 2.0 based phone, like Motorola Droid, hits the market, somebody has got it working on the first Android device, the HTC Dream (G1).  From the video, it still looks a bit rough and not fully optimized yet, but it is working.  With helps from the hacker community and the code released by Google, I am sure it will rock in a short time. HTC CEO syas they could have made HD2 an Android phone, but they have to take care of WinMo
