According to Microsoft, Windows Mobile Marketplace has 800 apps now
According to Microsoft, there are now around 800 apps in the Windows Mobile Marketplace. This is actually far less than the apps available for Windows Mobile platform. Sprint HTC Hero and Samsung Moment will get Android 2.1, not 2.0
Sprint makes an clarification of what they have announced before, the HTC Hero and Samsung Moment will get updates of Android 2.1, instead of 2.0. Google says only 16,000 apps in market, not 20,000 as reported by AndroLib
Google‘s official spokesman has clarified the numbers of free and paid apps in Android Market is around 16,000, not 20,000 as reported by AndroLib few days ago. “There are currently more than 16,000 free and paid apps in Android Market.” However, Google did not state the breakdown of the free and paid apps.
