Android 2.1 coming to Motorola CLIQ/DEXT in March?

According to BGR, the Motorola CLIQ/DEXT will be getting Android 2.1 upgrade in March. Motorola is surely working ahrd to get those handsets out in the market to be upgrades to the latest Android version.  The DROID/MILESTONE owners will be getting the Android 2.1 treatment soon and now the CLIQ/DEXT is following. This should get a lot of CLIQ/DEXT owners excited if it turns out to be true. [via BGR]

Motorola DROID to get Android 2.1 upgrade by this week

Android 2.1 coming to Samsung Galaxy i5700 Spica in second quarter

When Samsung launched the Galaxy last year, the handset was installed with Android 1.5.  However, the recent announcement from Samsung confirms that the Galaxy i5700 Spica is getting an Android 2.1 treatment in the second quarter. HTC Espresso ROM (android 2.1) shown off on Hero

While we are waiting for the Android 2.1 for Hero  to be officially release by HTC, people at XDA-developers have been working hard to port the recently leaked HTC Espresso ROM to the Hero.  Below is a video showing HTC Hero running a ported version of Espresso ROM.
