HTC Espresso ROM (android 2.1) shown off on Hero

While we are waiting for the Android 2.1 for Hero  to be officially release by HTC, people at XDA-developers have been working hard to port the recently leaked HTC Espresso ROM to the Hero.  Below is a video showing HTC Hero running a ported version of Espresso ROM. A nice Nexus One Android 2.1 video walkthrough

Here is another video for Google’s mystery phone, Nexus One.  And this one is pretty good.  It covers quite a number of programs and UI features.  And it proves that there is no multitouch on Nexus One.  For those who are waiting for more of Nexus One, you will enjoy the video.

Sprint HTC Hero and Samsung Moment will get Android 2.1, not 2.0

Sprint makes an clarification of what they have announced before, the HTC Hero and Samsung Moment will get updates of Android 2.1, instead of 2.0. That actually make sense as at the time the update is released, the Android 2.1 should be available already.  And it will make it outdated if they are just Android 2.0.
