HTC Espresso ROM (android 2.1) shown off on Hero
While we are waiting for the Android 2.1 for Hero to be officially release by HTC, people at XDA-developers have been working hard to port the recently leaked HTC Espresso ROM to the Hero. Sprint HTC Hero and Samsung Moment will get Android 2.1, not 2.0
Sprint makes an clarification of what they have announced before, the HTC Hero and Samsung Moment will get updates of Android 2.1, instead of 2.0. That actually make sense as at the time the update is released, the Android 2.1 should be available already. And it will make it outdated if they are just Android 2.0.
