Google just pushed out another update for the Google Map for Android.  And this time it will include an additional layer that shows the bike direction. This is a good news for bike enthusiastic as you will be able to check the path to ride from one place to another. Another new feature is the ability to share location and direction with your friends via SMS and Email.

Google has emailed Techcrunch and officially stated that they will back HTC against Apple for the patent infringement lawsuits. “We are not a party to this lawsuit. After several delays, the Google has finally come to Android devices.  It is now available in the market.  However, it is for Nexus One only but will be available for most of the Android 2.1 devices later.
