Finally, HTC has announced at it’s Chinese Pluck account that Android 2.1 update for HTC Hero is being pushed out on 4th of June. The translation of the announcement: “From 4th of June, HTC Hero will start receiving OTA update.  The main new function is Android 2.1 upgrade.” Wow, a brand new HTC Hero, finally.  However, it is not Froyo Asia users should been getting the update by now.  Anyone?

HTC has just released an updated version of HTC Sync, which syncs the Outlook data (mail, contact and calendar) from desktop to your HTC Android phones – Magic, Hero and Tattoo. The update does not seem to have feature improvement.  According to the support site, this version is made to support the newly released Microsoft Windows 7.
