HTC is enjoying brisk sales of Hero, their first Android based smartphone packed with Sense.  And this has caused tight production at HTC. I just visted the Singtelshop web site and found out that the HTC Hero is back to the store but with a differebt price range.  It is now S$298 for the high plan(S$82.93/month and above), S$498 for the low plan and S$598 for the super low plan (S$15/month). Damn, should have ordered one when it was listed as S$98 for the high plan.

Since I have pre-ordered the HTC Hero from Starhub, Singapore, I’ve just got a call from them that I can pick up the phone on 19 Sep, the coming Saturday.  They will be doing a roadshow at Marina Square starting 12PM. New HTC Hero official firmware update had been found on support web sites at some Nordic countires.  The new release of the firmware had been reported to be quicker and smoother than the previous release.  XDA-Developer has a link for the firmware.  There is still no sign of HTC Hero in all operators (Singtel, M1, Starhub) in Singapore.  And I do hope we will get one with the latest firmware loaded. I just came back from Comex 2009 at Suntec City. I visited the booth of Starhub and found out they are taking pre-order of HTC Hero during the show. Unfortunately, the lady manning the booth was not able to tell me much, like the price of the phone and when it is going to a available.
