Wow, I have never seen HTC acting this fast.  According to recombu, HTC has told them thath they are working hard to get HTC Sense to run on Froyo (Android 2.2) for their 2010 devices, and that includes Desire, Legend and Wildfire. Finally, HTC has announced at it’s Chinese Pluck account that Android 2.1 update for HTC Hero is being pushed out on 4th of June. The translation of the announcement: “From 4th of June, HTC Hero will start receiving OTA update.  The main new function is Android 2.1 upgrade.” Wow, a brand new HTC Hero, finally.  However, it is not Froyo Asia users should been getting the update by now.  Anyone?

It is official now – the low end Android 2.1 device, Wildfire, from HTC. HTC is reacting to the legal action from Apple (suing HTC for patent infridgements). HTC had indeed filed a lawsuit complaining patent infringement by Apple.  And asking to ban sale of iPhone, iPod and iPad. I guess if you need to survive in the games played by Apple, you have to play its game.
