Lenovo announces Lephone, coming 1st half of 2010
Lenovo (the largest Chinese PC manufacturer who is now in the Mobile market) has announced “Lephone”, a new smartphone with a touch slab form factor and a very rounded design only 12mm thick. Lephone is coming with a 3.7-inch, 480×800-pixel touch display and below it there is a secondary touch area for navigation, no buttons on the front. Lenovo buys back the mobile business
Lenovo, one of the largest PC and notebook manufacturer , has bought back their mobile technology spinoff, Lenovo Mobile Communications Technology Ltd who released their first Android based OPhone in China not long ago. Lenovo Mobile was owned by a private equity group, Legend Holding, who owns Lenovo Group also.
