It is official now.  LG has just announced the first dual core Android phone based on the Tegra 2 chip – the LG Optimus 2X. The phone will be loaded with 1Ghz Tegra 250 dual core CPU, 8Gb internal memory (expandable with up to 32Gb microSD), 1500mAh battery, 4 inch WVGA screen and capable of doing 1080p HDMI out.  It also comes with a 8MP camera and a front facing camera (1.3MP) for video calling. More details of LG Ally is surfacing to the web.  The next Android 2.1 phone from LG will be arriving soon. This came out to be a surprise during one of the Engadget show.  The Microsoft executive actually brought an LG made prototype Windows Phone.
