Motorola will notify you when Froyo is ready for DROID

Want to get Froyo running on your Motorola DROID (MILESTONE)?  If you are not game for installing an unofficial custom Froyo ROM, the only option will be waiting for the official one from Motorola. Apparently Motorola support forum is letting people to sign up for email notification when Froyo is ready for the device.  The information is here, check it up. Go Froyo!

Motorola acquires Azingo, hints to have own Mobile OS

Android 2.1 coming to Motorola CLIQ/DEXT in March?

According to BGR, the Motorola CLIQ/DEXT will be getting Android 2.1 upgrade in March. Motorola is surely working ahrd to get those handsets out in the market to be upgrades to the latest Android version.  The DROID/MILESTONE owners will be getting the Android 2.1 treatment soon and now the CLIQ/DEXT is following. Motorola seems to focus the market in China now, its Backflip is already available in China before any other markets.
