A recent multitasking test from Precentral.net has shown the upcoming Palm Pre Plus (with more RAM than the original Palm Pre) is capable of openning 50 applications at the same time.  And this is amazing if you compare to iPhone, and even multitasking capable devices like Windows Mobile devices and Android handsets. It is official now.  Palm has just announced this in their blog.  Palm Pre is going to Spain on 14 October. Telefonica will be the exclusive carrier for Palm Pre in Spain, UK, Ireland and Germany.  Their customers can even get the Palm Pre for free with some plans. This will be the GSM version and we will see it going to the rest of the world soon. [via Palm]

Palm announces the launch date of GSM version of Pre in Europe.  13 October in Germany and 16 October in UK and Ireland.  It will be sold exclusively by O2 in these countries.
