Yes, RIM has done it.  They have announced Playbook, the 7-inch tablet from the result of QNX acquisition.  Here is the specs and video. 7-inch screen. RIM has just announced the long awaited Torch (the 9800), with the new OS, called Blackberry 6 (not Blackberry OS anymore). With the new OS, Blackberry will have features and UI comparable with its biggest competitors like Android and iOS.  And RIM hopes to gain back the market share lost to its competitors. I have never covered Blackberry before and this is the first time.  RIM has just unveiled the next generation of the Blackberry OS, version 6.  Many things has been revamped and the user interface is surely looking good and comparable with other modern mobile operating system like iPhone, Android, WebOS and Windows Phone 7.  It is touch optimized and many of the apps have been improved.
